ISO 20000

ISO 20000 is the long awaited international standard for information technology service management. It conists of two documents, ISO 20000-1 and ISO20000-2, on ebeing a code of practice, the other being a certifyable specification. As with many of the major ISO standards, the ISO20000 pair are based upon earlier publications by the British Standards Institute, these being BS 15000-1 and BS 15000-2.

The ISO 20000 were designed to align with a number of pre-existing control frameworks, such as CobIT and ITIL.

This section of the Quality Network is currently being worked upon. On completion, as with the other sections, it will house and FAQ, a directory of registration bodies, and various other materials.
