ISO 14001 BASICS

ISO 14001 is the environmental standard against which organizations are assessed. It specifies the requirements for an EMS, which provides a framework for an organization to control the environmental impacts of its activities, products and services.

All the requirements in this standard, which was most recently published in 2004, can be incorporated into any environmental management system.
